CM Arvind Kejriwal losing 8.5 kg in jail could be a sign of serious illness, said AAP leader Sanjay Singh Saturday as he accused the BJP and the PM of allegedly conspiring to keep the CM in jail and play with his health.

The AAP Rajya Sabha MP claimed at a press conference: “When Kejriwal was arrested on March 21, his weight was 70 kg and today his weight has dropped by 8.5 kg to 61.5 kg. The reason for this is not known, no serious investigation is being done to find out how he lost so much weight…” Singh also said ever since Kejriwal was jailed, his sugar level suddenly fell below 50 at night around five times.

Terming Singh’s statement “rhetoric”, Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva alleged that each time the AAP convener got bail, he never went for any treatment and his “political diatribe increase to new heights” instead. “Sanjay Singh should note that people of Delhi have no trust left in Kejriwal and AAP…,” he said.
