Lakshya Lalwani’s performance in Kill, a film noted for its intense action and violence, has been widely praised. Transitioning from television, where he starred in series like Puru, Lakshya has impressed audiences and critics alike with his dedication to his role, especially in the challenging fight scenes set on a train. In a recent interview, Lakshya opened up about his admiration for Ranbir Kapoor, describing him as a secure and down-to-earth actor.

“He has no inhibitions at all. I remember that I hung out with Ranbir and interacted with him a couple of times and there is not even an iota of insecurity. He doesn’t give an f* about who is doing what in their lives. He’s just happy with his own space,” Lakshya said in an interview with Showsha.

He added that Ranbir seems to be loving his life and is unfazed by whatever is happening around him. “He’s not bothered at all. That’s what makes him so secure as an actor and human being. He is gem of a guy. I love hanging out with him. I love his energy and he is very secure and a brilliant actor. Brilliant,” Lakshya shared.

During the interview, Lakshya also revealed what Raghav Yugal said about his commitment to authenticity in his performance. “Raghav keeps telling me, ‘Lakshya, what I love about you is how unfazed you’re with how you look on the on-screen.’ In the film, you can see that my spit is coming out. My face is distorted. Everything is like I’m not looking good at all whereas actors get stuck with this feeling that they should look nice. I think that’s also something. I really see in Ranbir that he doesn’t care how he’s looking on screen. He is so secure that it often reflects on-screen,”

Festive offer

Kill, bankrolled by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and Guneet Monga’s Sikhya Entertainment, tells the story of a soldier, played by Lakshya, who turns a train into a bloodbath after Raghav Juyal’s character kills his girlfriend, played by Tanya Maniktala.
